There will be 2 modifications to the HCA Central Line Kit:
1. Omit 1 (of 2) Facemasks.
2. Substitute vinyl gloves in place of Nitrile gloves for Step 1-Removal.
Recommendations:
- The Facemask provided in the Central Line Kit should be utilized for the provider. Please obtain a second facemask for the patient from regular stock.
- No practice change is indicated for substitution of vinyl gloved in place of nitrile gloves.
