Documenting the Provision of Care

Our partners in the Continental Division, Presbyterian/St. Luke's has a policy in place that all patients need a set of vital signs within 2 hours prior to discharge to ensure patient safety.  

The attached policy outlines the requirement under assessment/reassessment. 

Please ensure you are familiar with the facility policy in which you are working in regards to Documenting the Provision of Care.

Continental Division: Nursing Meditech Menu Update

The Continental Division has recently updated the Nursing Meditech Menu.  The Menu will be standardized across the Division: same menu, same numbers, same status board, etc. for all facilities in Continental Division.

BCMA: Fentanyl Daily Patch Check Reminder

Please see attached education regarding patch documentation. The Continental Division will be adding a daily patch check reminder for fentanyl patches in BCMA. The RN will be expected to verify the patch is on the patient and document the verification. The planned Go-Live in the Continental Division is 11/26/2019.
